Diplomacy and foreign policy refers to a state and government that has to establish a procedure and rules to conduct its affairs with other states, governments and nations and to interact with them in the world. Regarding the affairs with other nations, the Holy Quran has given orders in twenty verses and the Prophet ﷺ also based the foreign policy of Islam on these Quranic verses. The main point of the Prophet’s foreign policy was the domination of Islam and the removal of obstacles to its supremacy. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to instruct the Companions to first present Islam to other nations, and if they do not accept it, invite them to recognize the supremacy and superiority of Islam and the way of its promotion and implementation. Don’t get in the way. And if they do not accept Islam and become an obstacle to its publication, fight against them. As if Jihad and war is not about not accepting Islam, but about being resistant in its path.
