They used to do many things which were open cruelty and they also used to do various kinds of cruelty to animals. One of these cruelties was that when they ran out of food on the way, they would cut the meat from the body of a living animal and eat it raw, and if there was no water during the journey, these people would tear the camel’s hump and drink water from it. They used to pull out and do many such atrocities on animals. But when the mercy of the universe came to the Prophet ﷺ, he ﷺ explained the people in the matter of animals, gave them instructions and stopped the oppression of these speechless people.
In this way, your soul became a mercy for the dear animals. Therefore, eat with fear of animals, take care of their food, especially feed them when they are hungry, refrain from beating them, burden them according to their strength. It is obligatory on a Muslim to comfort them in case of injury, illness or illness. And also the Sunnah of the beloved Prophet ﷺ.
