Waqqās is a Jannati. Sayyiduna Sa’eed Bin Zayd kept silence after relating nine names of the ‘Asharah
Mubashsharah, people asked, ‘We ask you by taking an oath on Allah , who is the tenth person?’
Sayyiduna Sa’eed Bin Zayd replied, ‘If you have asked by the oath of Allah then listen to
the name of the tenth person, it is ‘Abul A’war.’ (Abul A’war is a Kunyah (epithet) of Sayyiduna Sa’eed

‘Awwām is also one of these 10 ‘Asharah Mubashsharah Sahaaba Kirām ) .
Brief introduction
Sayyiduna Zubayr Bin ‘Awwām is the son of Sayyidatuna Safiyyah ) who is a
paternal aunt of the Noble Prophetٖ . Therefore, as a relative, he is a paternal
cousin of the Holy Prophetٖ , a nephew of Sayyidatuna Khadeejah ) and a son- in-law of Ameer-ul-Mu`mineen Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddeeq .
He was related to the Beloved Prophetٖ in several ways. It is reported, once
he told to his son, Sayyiduna ‘Abdullāh Bin Zubayr : O my beloved son! I bear
both blood and close relationships with the Holy Prophetٖ because your mother
(Sayyidah Asmā Bint Abi Bakr ) is my wife and your maternal aunt Sayyidatuna ‘Aishah
Siddeeqah ) is a wife of the Holy Prophetٖ , besides this another blood relation
which you know is that paternal aunt of my father Umm-e-Habeebah Bint Asad is a maternal
grandmother of the Noble Prophetٖ and my mother Sayyidatuna Safiyyah Bint ‘Abdul
