Sahabi means friend or companion. In Shariah terms, Sahabi refers to a companion of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who believed in him, visited him and left the world in a state of faith. The word “Sahabi” is special for the companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, so no other person can use this word for his companions. After the Prophets, the holy congregation of the Companions is superior and superior to all creation. This greatness and excellence is attained only by the Companions. Allah has guaranteed them forgiveness, Paradise and His pleasure in this world. Many Quranic verses and Ahadith are witnesses to this. Allah liked the faith and faithfulness of the Companions so much that He made it a criterion for every believer who came later. Imams Muhadditheen and Rahilul Ilam have authored many books about the faith and biographies of the Companions. Al-Asaba and Asad al-Ghabah etc. are worth mentioning in Arabic. Similarly, there are many books in Urdu language. The book under comment “Ashra Mubashara” is the authorship of Qazi Habibur Rahman, brother of Allama Qazi Mohammad Sulaiman Mansoorpuri. Among the Companions, the Muhajirin and Ansar are unanimously superior to all the Companions. Then, the emigrants over the Ansar and the emigrants have a special superiority over the emigrants. Ushra mubashara refers to those companions of the Greatest Prophet, who were given the good news of Paradise in this world. The situations and events of the Prophets and their virtues and virtues have been presented embellished with references from the Quranic verses and the books of Hadith and Seerat.
