Mubashir Sahaba r.a by Mehmood Ahmed Ghazanfar – Sahaba is the name of those holy souls who saw the blessed face of the beloved and beloved Prophet ﷺ and tried to fully incorporate the manifestations of faith in this good times in their faith and deeds. Sahabi means friend or companion. In Shariah terms, Sahabi refers to a companion of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who believed in him, visited him and left the world in a state of faith. The word “Sahabi” is special for the companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, so no other person can use this word for his companions.
Allah liked the way of faith and faithfulness of the Companions so much that He made it a criterion for every believer who came later. Regarding the biographies of the Companions of the Prophet , Imams Muhadditheen and Raheel Ilam have authored many books, Al-Asaba and Asad al-Ghabah etc. in Arabic language are worth mentioning. Similarly, there are many books in Urdu. Some of them are the blessed Jalil-ul-Qadr Companions to whom the Prophet ﷺ gave the good news of Paradise in the world. In a tradition of Jami Tirmidhi and Sunan Ibn Majah, there are the names of ten Companions.
The book under review “Mubashir Sahaba” is the authorship of the well-known translator and judge of the country, Maulana Mahmood Ahmed Ghazanfar. In this book, there is a heartwarming and impressive mention of the 24 Jalil-ul-Qadr Sahaba, who received the good news of Paradise from the tongue of the prophet. Among them, the first ten Companions are the ones whom the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave the promise of going to Paradise in one assembly, the remaining 14 Companions are those who were given the good news of going to Paradise individually at different places. This book is unique in terms of its contents and writing style. It is a book of nature.
