The Companions of the Prophet (may peace be upon him) are those holy souls whom the Lord of the Universe has chosen to accompany his last prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This is enough for the excellence and dignity of this blessed congregation that the Lord is pleased with all of them and they are pleased with their Lord. The first interlocutors of divine revelation are also the Companions of the Prophet. Those who sacrificed their lives and money for the religion of Islam and set examples of obedience that will continue to be read and heard throughout the world.
