Sayyidna Khalid bin Waleed was a respected member of the Quraysh and the visionary of the Banu Makhzoom tribe. Sayyidna Khalid bin Waleed grew up under the shadow of the sword, so he was very agile. He was an expert in wrestling, horse riding and javelin. Khalid bin Waleed participated in many wars. The Prophet ﷺ gave him the title Saifullah, meaning Sword of Allah, for his unparalleled bravery in the Battle of Muta. Sayyidna Khalid bin Waleed Amir al-Momineen died in the city of Homs in Syria in 21 AH 642 during the caliphate of Sayyidna Umar Farooq . On his death, he bequeathed the distribution of his property to the hands of the then Caliph Syed Umar Farooq. Biographers have written many books about Syedna Khalid bin Waleed ‘s bravery, bravery, military leadership, and conquests. Some books have also been written in the form of interesting novels.
